Mark Shepperd currently serves as Director of Music at Woodbury Lutheran Church, Woodbury, Minnesota, where he oversees the church’s multi-campus music program, directs the adult choir and vocal ensembles, and serves as principal organist. As a composer, his compositions, both choral and instrumental, are represented in the catalogues of several leading church music publishers. He is a 1st place winner of the John Ness Beck Foundation competition, a winner of the VocalEssence and American Composers Forum Welcome Christmas Carol Contest, as well as a reoccurring recipient of the Standard Award from ASCAP. Mr. Shepperd earned a music degree at Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minnesota and has done graduate study at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Shepperd resides in the St. Paul suburb of Woodbury, Minnesota with his wife, Mary. They are the parents of three grown children.
